17:9. ইস্রায়েলীয়রা প্রভু, তাদের ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে গোপনে গোপনে পাপাচরণ করতে শুরু করল যাকে কোন মতেই সঠিক কাজ বলা যায় না|ইস্রায়েলীয়রা ছোট ছোট শহর থেকে শুরু করে বড় বড় শহরে প্রত্যেক জায়গায় উচ্চস্থান তৈরী করল|

17:9. The Israelites said things about the LORD their God that were not right. They built high places in all their cities, from the watchtower to the fortress.
